The Collegian is Your LegacyAs the media industry rapidly evolves, the Collegian is often unable to fund the necessary equipment and software that staffers need to keep the paper competitive and relevant. We need  your support to preserve our paper and its legacy—a legacy that you helped to create.

Think about how much the industry has evolved since you’ve graduated. Demands on the media are stronger than ever, and our staffers must have access to the equipment, software and resources necessary to remain competitive in the digital age. The Collegian is struggling to keep up on a limited budget.

We Are Collegian was established to support our student journalists and to preserve our longstanding reputation as one of the country’s top collegiate newspapers. Your financial support can help provide staffers with the critical tools they need to report on breaking news, manage digital content, and sell and produce quality digital advertising.

The Collegian, like many other collegiate and professional newspapers, has already taken steps to evolve in the digital age. We’ve cut print runs from daily to just two days a week to focus on our rapidly-growing online presence. Now, we need your help to secure the items on our wish list so that we can continue offering a best-in-class experience to journalism and business students, providing them with the tools that will prepare them for successful careers after graduation.

Think about your own era at the Collegian. Did your experience help to prepare you for a successful career? Did the tools and equipment provided to you help to develop real-world skills? Do today’s staffers deserve the same best-in-class experience?

If you agree, please make your year-end donation to the Collegian. Your gift will go directly toward helping a staffer access the tools he or she needs to produce the quality Collegian content that the paper is known for.

Thank you for making your gift this holiday season.
